The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Since I entered as a freshman, Penn State has been a significant part of my life both personally and professionally. Married Rich Kalich, my PSU sweetheart, 40+ years ago and worked in higher education administration for 30, including Penn State Allegheny (as Director of Admissions and then Director of Development and College Relations). I also had the good fortune to serve on the Alumni Association Board for 6 years. And one of our daughters made PSU her alma mater too. Great memories and friends! After graduation in 1967 Rich and I ventured to Michigan State to earn masters degrees, then off to Chicago for nine years, back to the Pittsburgh area for 19 and now happily residing in New Hampshire. Rich continues to enjoy the world of business, currently serving as President of Vermed, a medical device company in Vermont. I served for 12 years as the Director of Advancement for Keene State College (great school--but no football!). Now I am managing 29 rental properties (what started as a hobby has grown to a business). We are blessed with two daughters, Kelly who resides in Virginia with her husband and three children, and Karrie who resides in Keene with husband and baby. Kelly pursued a career with Accenture and Karrie, a college professorship. Still holding season football tickets with the hope of, upon retirement, attending all of the home games.
